So....almost a year ago I found a beautiful, vintage white table, while visiting an Antique Mall with Lindsay and Domini. Nothing fancy, but I do love Round tables in dinning rooms!
It was time for hubby and I to not be such strangers while eating dinner together. Our other table took over the dinning room, so it was nice to find a smaller Round table...much more cozy!
Sold the old table, but kept the six chairs... that I have never been that crazy about, except they are very comfortable and why would I get rid of six chairs in very good condition??
So...I had ALL summer to get this little project started! I just couldn't get myself talked into it! Well, it began to dawn on me that we were sure going to be needing some chairs for Thanksgiving and Christmas AND playing cards and games, and I had better get a paint brush moving soon!
To be honest, I had even found some new chairs that I REALLY LOVED! Just could not justify that, with what I had sitting in the garage.
I will do the math for you....almost Thirty Hours! Wowsers!
I really thought I had bitten off more than I could ever chew! :)
I love to paint, but this was almost too much! Very tedious!
And the great surprise?? I was hoping I would be pleased with them, after so much work, but I am MORE THAN PLEASED! I AM LOVING THEM!
They have made the dinning room so much lighter and brighter! You can't get enough of that in the Pacific Northwest! :)
And we have already been able to begin to use them with special company for dinner last Saturday night!
I love the fabric with the sweet little birds on the chairs! This fabric was already on the two chairs that came with the table, so what a blessing to find it and do the other chairs to match!

I am SO THANKFUL for Family and Friends to come and sit around our table on our six Sweet Chairs!
