F O R E V E R...

"In what ways do you ask your relationships, your job, your achievements, or your possessions to give you hope that they will never be able to deliver?"

"The problem is that it is so easy for us to live as if this life is all there is. It's so easy to forget that on the cross God opened up the doors of Forever to all who believe in His Son."
forever1

A few months ago, while my sweet friend Cheryl was getting ready for Home....I ordered this book. Without a doubt, Cheryl lived her life in Forever...it was her hope everyday!  We talked often about this...she seemed to see right thru situations...right into Forever... right into what was really going to matter in eternity...when we stand before the Lord. I wish I could say I do also...it is just so easy to get caught up in the "here"...wherever "here" is for each of us, each day. I will be
F O R E V E R grateful for all of my precious conversations with Cheryl, that she so tenderly would bring me back around to Forever!

Miss you dear friend...but rejoice for you in Heaven!

This book is a great read, if you desire a little more of Forever in your life!
A few more quotes...

"Sadly, many of us who by God's grace have been given hope don't live as if we have it. We look for hope where hope can't be found. We place our hope in things that can never deliver. We live hopelessly because we fail to live with Forever in view. Sure, the things in which we put our hope give us a temporary buzz and a temporary rest, but reality always hits."

"No matter how wonderful the situations in our life are, no matter how beautiful our possessions are, no matter how exciting our experiences are, no matter how fulfilling our accomplishments are, and no matter how loving the people in our lives are, they will only satisfy us temporarily. They simply cannot carry our hope."

"How different would our lives be if we remembered that everything that exists in the created world is meant to be a finger pointing us to the only place where hope can be found?"
Forever! forever

"Grace not only connects us to God, but delivers us from ourselves and from the madness of our propensity to make life about little more than us in the here and now."

Forever!
