Hope!

 

A few months ago, while reading a great book on the function and health of our brains...

this one word kept jumping off the pages to me...

H O P E!!

God made our brains to survive on Hope!

 

Each year the Lord seems to tuck a word...just one word into my heart for the coming year.

 

 This is probably about the sixth year, for one little word.

 And there is no doubt about it, that the word for this year is...

 

hope!

(I bet you couldn't guess) :)

 

 

Soooo....tonight when this gorgeous sunset showed up in our backyard, I knew it was the perfect way to share my word of HOPE!

 

 

  After all, how can one stand out there and watch a sunset as this,

 and not have hope in our very great God?

 

I have loved looking up the verses with hope in them.

 

 It was hard not to share all of them!

 They all brought so much hope to my heart, even as I was choosing one or two, to share on here.

It was quite the performance...right in our backyard...
 to see the sky changing and the color becoming deeper and more intense,
 as I was standing out there in awe of the amazing beauty being spread across the
heavens!

And what a reminder,

 

 that when we are in a "waiting season"...

this little word of Hope is a treasure to our soul!

 

 May it fill us to overflowing each day for this new year!

 

And may we give God time to do His Beautiful Work in our lives, as He so amazingly does in the heavens!
