As I slipped my coat on, I told my hubby I had just "a couple of items" on the grocery list, and it would be a very quick trip to the store.
I needed to get back to fix his "breakfast dinner", in order to get him off to work. He works graveyard every few nights.
I had tucked my camera inside my purse to try and get some good pics of a lovely row of daffodils on the road into town.
Well...good thing for that camera!
I went to another entrance at the store, that I don't use very often...and look what I found!
A beautiful new display of Pansies!!
Before I knew it, they were finding their way to my little grocery cart...it didn't take long! :)
Pansies are such delightful flowers!
Love their sweet faces!
And why not buy enough to fill some of those empty and lonely pots on the back patio!
After all, we should celebrate moving the clocks forward..
it truly does mean we are getting closer to the first day of Spring!
Oh yes...
even though I felt like I was in pansy heaven...
I reminded myself I had better get scooting..
.just a couple of items needed, and home to fix that meal.
And then on my way out of the store...
here was a dear friend whom I had not seen in such a long time.
One of those sweet moments, when we both knew the other has recently gone thru a difficult time, and could encourage each other to keep trusting!

Such a blessing!
Sooo...maybe it wasn't all about eggs, bread, milk, cauliflower and lettuce...
I see His fingerprints all over that sweet little trip to the store..
for just a couple of items!
I was blessed!
My heart came home lighter!
and....I did have time to snap a few pictures of those daffodils...so beautiful along side the road!
~that will have to be for another time~
