It takes a special person to organize such a day...
and she planned an "over-the-top" day!!

Thank you Shannon!!

She had us start early...and this is the garden we "Tip-Toed" thru first!!

I was appalled that this garden is only Thirty minutes from my home...and I had never been! How many times I have driven by...just needed to stop and check it out!
Soooo thankful to discover the beauty found here...and the time to enjoy it on this day!

Can it be that most of the world has forgotten how to stroll thru a beautiful garden??

It is balm to my soul for sure!
Hope you enjoy your stroll...

My daughter and dear daughter~in~law were not able to make it at the last moment...but we are already planning another "garden day"...so they can get in on the next one hopefully!

The lush green was such a delight...

we have had so many warm days...

they have worked hard to have it still so green!

We found ourselves in the "Scroll Garden"...
the boxwoods outdid themselves in this garden!

Quaint little corners, lovely old windows...
and the home on the estate is so grand and beautiful!

Such a reminder to take the time to enjoy the beauty all around us!

 every garden,
the land is
made better
 and so is the gardner"

Maybe it is courage that is needed to slow our fast~paced lives down...
to live our moments!

Hope you can enjoy a garden or two soon also!

More garden tour to come...:)

"I think this
 is what hooks
 one to gardening:
it is the closet one can come to being present at creation."
