A special evening was enjoyed in our home last week,

 with some very lovely ladies!

 

Time once again to host our Book Club....

 

ChocLit Guild!

 

For over ten years we have met the last Thursday evening of every month,

 to discuss that month's book selection.

We have twelve beautiful ladies in our Book Club, and we each select a book, hostess a meeting, and provide a CHOCOLATE desert, once a year!

 

So fun to buy a few flowers to say, "Welcome" ...and then to even have a few from the garden...

 

 

I decided I must buy flowers more often...
especially when they are not plentiful in my garden...

it just does a lady good, ya know! :)

Such wonderful conversations discussing our book this month,

 Just Walk Across The Room by Bill Hybels.
Amazing encouragement to "just walk across the room"...
leave your "circle of comfort", as he calls it...
 and learn what life has been like for others...it might just be a door to share your faith.

 

I loved what he had to say about taking the time to listen to others stories...

we all have a story. To really care about one another.

 

 

This next month our book selection is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin of course! :) I have never read one of her books, so I have been looking forward to this read....
I have sure watched several of her movies though! :)

 I am only a few chapters in, and I do feel as if I am watching the movie...
almost word for word! :)

I would highly encourage you to consider STARTING ONE...it is a blessing!

 

A lovely ladies evening out, for sure!!
