Take A Hike!

It was the perfect day to... "take a hike"!!

And a glorious hike it turned out to be!!

 

The weather was fabulous!

 Not too warm, but perfect for walking up those trails!!

 

And oh my...the beauty of God's great and amazing creation!!

We even packed a fun picnic lunch...

and had our backpacks with ice cold water bottles, that we sure needed!:)

On this hike, we were blessed with three different waterfalls...

well, they were trying to be waterfalls...

very low amounts of water coming over those falls!

 

 They were still so beautiful!!

And oh those majestic huge trees....

We had stopped to rest a few minutes and to have a cool drink...

wondering if we should head back, or how much further the last falls were.

 

Daphne thought we should just try and go on just a little bit farther...around that bend...

 

OH MY!!!

 

So blessed that we kept going!

 

We were almost there...just around the next bend....

we had no idea we were about to see a double falls with a rainbow shinning thru it!!

 

What a lesson to my heart that day...

 

Never.Give.Up.!!!!

 

We just don't know what is around the next bend!!

What a great lesson to this Nana that afternoon...

 That was quite spectacular also!!
