Anne and Friends...

We have lots of new little friends around here...well, at least they will come to visit at Nana's house often!

Last summer, I saw these on a blog, and decided right away that they would be so fun to make for Christmas...wowsers...quite.a.project.!!!

But So Fun to have all of these new little friends!

 

I am sure you have all heard or read, or have seen Anne of Green Gables!

LOVE IT!!

Our daughters delighted in the book, and the movies!

Any day could be an Anne of Green Gables Day at our house!

 Sooooo...we have Anne in the red hair (of course), her best friend, Diana, in the black hair with pony tails, Gilbert...who teased Anne about her red hair, and then Josie Pye in the blond hair...who is now a sweet little girl! :)

I had delightful trips to the fabric store to find the darling little prints...and the sweet trim on the pillow case and blanket is from Daphne's Great, Great Grandmother's sewing basket!

She is who taught me how to sew! :)

 Pretty special!

 

Loved all the lovely little details that the pattern suggested...

 

And of course a darling little house to carry Anne and her friends...and all the little clothes!
