A little over a week ago, I mentioned to my sweet hubby that we hadn't gotten out to the big apple orchard, that is about a 35 minute drive from our home.
In the past few years he has gone out there to pick the majority of apples that we try and store over the winter for smoothies and some for pies.
I was usually working, so he was always a good sport to go and do the picking of the yummy apples.
So...he made a quick phone call to see about the apples and was told they were about out!
OUT!!!
OH NO!!! :)
Well....Nana had a "Nana Date" with her grands, so that left hubby to once again go and try to find some apples to pick!
A few hours later, here he comes, and I am asking...
"well...were there any apples left?"
"Were you able to get ANY?"
Hubby said yes, he was able to get some, and he would have to sit down and add up his receipt to know how many pounds...
192 pounds!!!
"For real???"
OH MY.....bring on those early morning smoothies...apple pies...apple bars...apple pancakes...apple everything!!!
