Waiting For Miss "B"...and A Nana's Box!

Well...we have officially passed the due date of our little Miss "B"...

we are excitedly awaiting her arrival!!!

 

It has been fun to call her Miss "B"...for Bates (her last name),

and also for my Mom, whose name was Bee.

And...
it has been a treasure
to knit this Sweater Coat for our new little one...

 

the sweet thing is,

 

  two other friends joined in with me to each knit one for their little Miss's!!!

 

Way to go Cheri and Irita!!

So... for several years I have had this beautiful silver box up in the guest room closet...

I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of it, so pretty.

 

 I just knew someday there would be a special purpose for that box!

And...as my little Hudson would say "Wah Lah"...

 

the Special Day came, for the Special Box...

 

A Nana Box

 

 filled with love for little

 

 Miss "B"!!

It was delightful

 

to select a couple Tasha Tudor books,
 some mint colored jammies,
 an adorable little bear
 and the joy of knitting two sweaters to place in the

 

"Nana Box"!!

And how can Nana sit in her living room knitting,

 and not think of Psalm 139...

...and more knitting...

Such a special privilege to knit for this new little life...

and just a little more knitting...

And now... just a little more waiting...
